The Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq ordered Internet services to be suspended on the morning of 11 June 2025 between 6:30 and 7:30 local time (+3 UTC). This regional shutdown is the first in an expected series during the public school exams, which last until 29 June.

In a press release to announce the preparations for the exams, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education mentioned that they are thankful that the Ministry of Transport and Communications will cut off Internet connections for two hours from 6am to 8am, however, the data shows that the shutdowns was effectively between 6:30am and 7:30am.
